Cruise

I've been horrible about putting new stuff up here lately. I'll try to add some more stuff this weekend.

The news for this week is that I put a deposit down on a cruise for Ronna and I. We'll be meeting Joel and Gena in Puerto Rico and then the group of us will be sailing to St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, and finally Aruba. We had so much fun on the last cruise that we couldn't wait to do it again except this time with some roll dogs. It should be great.

I put the pictures from Memorial Day skiing up today. Just for the hell of it I went to Squaw Valley's website and it's snowing. WTF!?

Spring Skiing

I went up with Ronna, my Mom and my Sister for some last minute spring skiing last weekend. We've been 2 of the last 3 years. I missed one year because I was in England and it was too hot when I got back. I gotta say, I think all things considered spring skiing is about as good as it gets. Without question there are some drawbacks: slushy snow in the afternoon and usually all of the runs aren't open but weigh that against horrible weather, higher lift ticket prices and massive crowds. What's your opinion? You can post comments below. I'll put a few pictures up before the weekend.

Kansas City BBQ

Phil, Ronna, Darren and I went to the Kansas City BBQ last night. You know, the one at the very end of Top Gun when Maverick comes back to be an instructor and Kelly McGillis walks in and plays that Righteous Brothers song. We were thinking it would be a fun place to eat but holy shit was it not! It was probably the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been in. We walked out after one beer. Several other people walked in an walked right out just while we were sitting there. Anyway, we ended up at the Yard House. That place is great.

I heard that if you have a black car there's no other way to wax it than Zaino. I got my $90 Zaino kit in the mail Thursday and finally got around using it today. Check out the pictures. Let me know if you think it's worth it.

I drove up to Orange County today to pick up my new 35th Anniversary 350 Z. It's kinda weird to have driven the original Z for so long and now graduate to a brand new one but so far I love it. Check out the pictures 350Z.

I added some more of the pics I took when Ronna and Coop came to visit and also some pics I took wandering around the country by myself. I still need to add some captions but I've spent enough time not working at work for today.

Big Numbs came over the other night and wanted to see some of the pictures from the cruise Ronna and I went on last week. As we all sat there trying to see the screen of my laptop he suggested that I post a link on Phil's website to the pictures so that everyone could see the pics. I decided to take the whole thing one step further and thanks to Dan and Joel, I started(actually they started) eriknilssen.com. I plan on putting up a ton of pictures in the next few days.
